Welcome

Hey, everyone.

Beginning today, I am starting Music Poetic as an off-shoot to my one-year-old Poetrical Musings, to house my music writing, critique and reviews.  Poetrical Musings (conveniently accessed via the sidebar on your right) started as a repository for my poetry, and organically, diversified into prose pieces on different issues.  In that context, a short while ago, I started committing my thoughts on music to virtual paper, as it were, with the objective of sharing tunes with my friends, but also, as a way to combine my two passions: music and writing.  Being both a musician and a poet, you can expect to find in these words technical and evocative tidbits about the songs currently on my playlists.  Although I am mostly partial to heavy rock music, I’ll take you all over the place;  hopefully, you’ll come along for the ride.  Your feedback, in the form of comments and music suggestions, is highly appreciated, so don’t be shy.
